Northside Clinic is a General Practice owned and staffed by a number of GPs with years of experience working in Melbourne's inner north. The clinic is open to all, but has a particular focus on Sexual Health, as well as providing quality medical care in a safe and friendly environment for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans and HIV positive communities in Melbourne's north. The clinic provides comprehensive testing for and management of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV, as well as a full range of General Practice and Allied Health services.

Northside Clinic Allied Health provides Osteopathy, Psychology and Dietitian services to our patients. 

Pathology services provided by Melbourne Pathology are available on site. 

Northside Clinic has been Accredited by AGPAL and recognised as meeting the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners standards in providing quality care.

Clinic Update

Contrary to recent reports, our appointment book remains  Open. 

Our clinic has not closed its appointment book and we welcome new patients to the clinic. Due to the high demand for new patient appointments, we have recently introduced a triage system for new patients. We prioritise new patient appointments for people with the following health needs;
People living with HIV
Those in need of Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for exposure to HIV
Those with current symptoms of an STI
Members of the GLBTI community
Those with other Sexual Health problems, or with a referral from another Doctor regarding a Sexual Health problem
Partners and children of existing patients
Anyone residing in Fitzroy North.
